I have spent over 15 years in nonprofit work, and I've seen it from every angle. The board table. The grant deadline at midnight. The staff meeting where you figure out how to do more with a budget that didn't grow. What I love most about this work has never changed: making real change in the places people call home.

I've built community coalitions from the ground up, starting with a few people around a table and no guarantee anyone would come back. I've grown an organization from a staff of one into a fully staffed team that punches above its weight class and is still growing. And I've secured state, federal, and community grants that brought millions of dollars into a rural nonprofit, in a part of the country people too often assume can't compete for that kind of funding.

That's the experience I bring to Wildwood Consulting. Grant writing. Marketing and design. Board training. Meeting facilitation. Program development. Research. Whatever the work in front of you looks like, I've probably sat where you're sitting.

I hold a bachelor's and master's degree in communication from Wichita State University, where I was named a One-to-Watch by the Elliott School of Communication in 2021 and honored as one of Wichita State's 35 Under 35 in 2026. Before nonprofit leadership, I worked in public radio doing volunteer management, community outreach, and fundraising.

I'm also a husband and a dad of three, a reader, and someone who would rather be outside. I love Kansas, and I'm proud of where I come from. That pride is part of why I do this. The organizations doing the hardest work in our communities deserve the same caliber of support as anyone in a bigger city.
